History & Foundation
WrestlingGamers.com, or WG for short, is an independently owned and operated fan site. WG's main purpose is to bring news to you, the wrestling gamer, about released wrestling games and wrestling games that have not yet been released.
WG.com’s roots come from a small site started back in 1999 ran by Matt Parker located at WWFWrestlingGames.com. The site progressed from a small one-page free-hosted site and grew into the leader in wrestling games coverage. The site then changed into GamingRing.com in its later years. Matt sold the site to a staff member in 2005 and left the wrestling games world. Now, with the help of individuals that have worked with him since the late 90’s, the people who brought you the leader in wrestling games news is back for 2007 and beyond.
Exclusive Coverage
Our main focus at WG may be wrestling games, however at times we branch out and cover fighting games such as UFC and Pride FC.
WrestlingGamers.com is if not the only site on the net, one of the only sites on the net dedicated to pure wrestling games. WG brings news to you, the gamer, that can be found no where else, such as exclusive news, screens, movies and interviews. We are normally the first to know about the latest happenings in the wrestling games world.
Interaction
WG also wants to know what you, the gamer, want in the next wrestling game! Therefore we are in the process of constructing one of the largest wrestling message boards on the net. Our intent is to have people from THQ, Acclaim, Yukes, Anchor and other wrestling game development companies come to our message board to read your thoughts, they want to know what you want in their next game.
