WG Wrestling Recap 4-29-08

Posted by RanSting on 4/28/08

And once again, I have returned to keep things on track for all you people that read my first Recap. I want thank you guys who read my last.

What a RAW tonight, huh? Perfect way to keep the ball rolling after Backlash and what an ending. I am sure WWE.com got a lot of hits after that. I am actually excited to see what this apparent face turn means for Mr. Kennedy, who no doubt will more than likely have a match with "King Regal" at Judgement Day. Another match I am excited to see that will happen at Judegement Day no doubt will be HBK Vs Jericho. I think i'll be catching Judgement Day somewhere in three weeks, no doubt.

I think keeping Orton in the title hunt is smart, he would really have no where else to go right now with so many of the main eventers busy with new feuds. I enjoy watching him and HHH work with each other and now add the Bradshaw/Cena feud that should kick into gear as soon as Cena's movie schedule is done could lead the WWE Title in a good direction towards the next big PPV, Summerslam in August.

Well, not only Dave Taylor, but now sadly Balls Mahoney are on the unemployment line. I wonder if TNA will look at bringing Balls in after having a somewhat good run in the WWECW. Only time will tell. No doubt, it would not surprise me if Balls ends up on that XPW "Cold Day in Hell" card in May.

Santino proved once again how good he is with that small segment with Piper. Though, I think they are smothering Carlito instead of making them appear as a team. It seems with all the good tag teams in the WWE, they are determined to have two guys who don't appear as a team as champions and the #1 contenders get made to look bad. Oh how WWE hates tag teams. Now we have Trevor Murdoch...country singer. Geez

Proof that WWE has done a good job rebuilding their Women's Division was Backlash last night and RAW tonight. Though WWE needs to decide on how their brand split works because they have severly blurred that line. When they first started to have people from other brands come over to other shows, it was a "big thing", now its just common. Keep it or get rid of it.

Ok, that is all I got for tonight. I will see you guys next time.

Take Care
