WG Wrestling Recap - 4-30-08

Hey gang, this is going to be a short one. After a long day at work and some other stuff that needed to be done, I just need to get some rest to be honest. But, here we go.
It is now obvious that the "ECW Walk Off" is an angle, which I figure will lead to something with Regal or some other storyline that are working on. It surprised me to see that this will be the 100th episode of ECW next week. Talk about a show that has changed ALOT in those past 99 episodes. I think they have found a formula that works to be honest with it being the ground for new stars. It is honestly one of the last things they hang on to from the old ECW, new talent to see everyweek.
So rumor has it on the dirt sheets that Lashley might of been one of the people coming forward on Hayes and his comments. Though also read would be the fact that even suspended, he is keeping up with his duties via email. Once again, dirt sheet stuff.
With what ECW pulled, I have to agree with what has been written by other people, TNA has a chance of beating out ECW in ratings this week. But once again, as I have said before, TNA needs to show why they are unique and not that place where former WWE stars end up. Samoa Joe is their #1 ticket to prove that, but that need to start doing more to put him over as such. His TNA Title reign needs to be lengthy.
Side Note, damn Stars. They should of put away San Jose tonight, but that is ok. Turko and the Stars will enjoy doing that on San Jose's ice on Friday. Sorry San Jose fans, its just going to happen that way. Kudos to Flyers getting another win. Not pulling for them, but it was a good played game.
They really need to get Smackdown live, but the money saved filming ECW and SD! on the same night must be good too. I remember the last days of WCW when Nitro and Thunder were being tapped on the same night. If you didn't know before then, you knew then that WCW was out the door.
Ok, im falling asleep over here. Not sure if I will have a column up tomorrow or not, if I do, it will be very very late. It is time for the Beale St. Music Fest, so I will be busy with that here in Memphis all weekend. Wish me luck gang.
